I drive by this bog many times a week and yesterday noticed that they had flooded it in preparation for harvesting. Today they started harvesting and will probably be done very quickly. We live in the heart of cranberry country!

Welcome!
Okay, this is all new for me but I have to admit that I'm kind of excited about it. It'll be fun to keep in touch with everyone, share pictures, etc...
What is going on with us right now? Wedding planning, field hockey, first year teacher, first year college student, piano, oboe, saxophone, marching band, tae kwan do, swim lessons, webelos...the list goes on but it all works out somehow.
Today we have piano lessons, a field hockey game and we would have tkd except that Garrett stayed home sick from school. He says he feels like he is going to throw up. The last time he said that I made him go to school and he was fine after an hour. Today either he's a better actor or he really is sick! Of course I told him to stay in his room with no video games and no tv but he is watching old Pink Panther movies on a portable dvd player... Yesterday in Primary class (I'm his teacher) he asked for details on how crucifixtion will kill someone. I told him to wait until we get home but still haven't shared it with him (I've got to look it up). That would be a good test of how sick his stomach really is I should think!
